Hiring : Head of Operations – THE BARBEQUE LOUNGE | Chennai (OMR)
We’re looking for an Operations Head to lead and manage the overall operations of our vibrant THE BARBEQUE LOUNGE in Chennai – OMR.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
- Manage and mentor teams in kitchen, service, bar, and administration for optimal performance.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in food quality, service, and hygiene.
- Monitor P&L statements, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Ensure inventory control, vendor management, and efficient supply chain operations.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase footfall and customer engagement.
- Maintain compliance with FSSAI, excise, and safety regulations.
- Handle customer feedback and grievance resolution effectively.
- Plan and coordinate events, special menus, and theme nights to enhance guest experience.
- Report directly to the owners / management with performance insights and operational improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).10+ years of experience in restaurant or bar operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role.Strong understanding of F&B operations, cost control, budgeting, and inventory systems.Proven experience managing large teams and multi-department coordination and ensuring top-tier service quality.Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction.Knowledge of POS systems, vendor management tools, and basic accounting is an advantage.What We Offer :
