The Role :

As part of the  South Asia Regional Recruitment Team  at Birmingham City University, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of student recruitment activities across India. Reporting to the  Associate Regional Director Recruitment - South Asia & MENA , this role focuses on engaging with schools, colleges, and agents to meet recruitment targets, enhance BCU’s market presence, and provide exceptional applicant support throughout the admissions process.

You will be responsible for delivering effective relationship management, handling enquiries, supporting the conversion journey, and contributing to the university’s wider global strategy by representing BCU professionally and proactively across the region.

Core Responsibilities :

• Organise and represent BCU at student recruitment exhibitions and school / college visits across India.
• Respond to student and agent enquiries related to entry requirements, applications, and scholarships.
• Support the conversion process from enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring a high-quality applicant experience.
• Assist with application processing and ensure accurate, timely communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and data analysis to provide actionable insights supporting regional recruitment strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, partner institutions, and key stakeholders in India.
• Liaise effectively with BCU's wider teams involved in international recruitment.
• Coordinate and support inbound and outbound visits, delegations, and events.
• Undertake other related duties as required to support the success of the team and university objectives.
