WiseAnalytics - Team Lead - Shopify Development

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly technical and leadership-oriented Team Lead for Shopify Development. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, architecting complex solutions on Shopify Plus, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise-level e-commerce projects. You are not just a coder; you are a technical strategist who understands business objectives and can guide both your team and clients towards best-in-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical Leadership & Architecture : Lead the technical design and architecture for all major Shopify Plus projects, including headless implementations (using Hydrogen / Remix, Next.js), B2B portals, and complex integrations with ERPs, PIMs, and CRM systems.
• Team Management & Mentorship : Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Shopify developers. Conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and quality.
• Project Execution : Collaborate with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Data Analysts to translate client business requirements (e.g., unified commerce for Guitar Center, DTC subscriptions for Mars) into detailed technical specifications and realistic timelines.
• Hands-On Development : Remain hands-on with code, especially for complex features, performance optimization, and solving challenging technical problems. Ensure the team's output is scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication : Act as a technical expert in client meetings, providing confident explanations of technical decisions, trade-offs, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
