Ophthalmic Nurse

NIO Super Speciality Eye Care is seeking dedicated ANM/GNM qualified Ophthalmic Nurses to join our clinical team. The role involves supporting ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures, assisting in ophthalmic OT workflows, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a specialized eye care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for ophthalmic treatments and OT procedures
• Administer prescribed eye medications and injections as per protocol
• Maintain patient records and assist in patient counselling
• Ensure preparation, sterilization, and maintenance of ophthalmic instruments and OT setup
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines

Eligibility Criteria

• ANM or GNM Nursing qualification
• Valid nursing registration/license
• Experience in an ophthalmic hospital preferred
• Freshers with interest in eye care are welcome to apply

Experience Required

• 0–3 years (Ophthalmic experience preferred)

Salary

• As per hospital standards / Negotiable based on experience.

Duty Timing

• Day shift / Rotational shifts
