Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Murex Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Murex 3.1 applications, with a strong focus on automation, reconciliation, and functional validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Murex MX Test / ONYX, a solid understanding of the Capital Markets domain, and the ability to work collaboratively with both business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using ONYX for Murex 3.1 modules.
• Prepare and execute automation test suites for all Murex releases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform reconciliations using Murex MX Test to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with business teams for test case reviews and with IT teams for deployments and fixes.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including articulating defects in detail, assigning them to technical teams, and tracking resolutions.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for BFSI domain applications, with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
• Utilize UNIX and SQL for data validation, test script execution, and troubleshooting.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
