Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the background verification and employee screening domain.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calls, emails, networking, and industry events.
- Understand client requirements and present customized background verification solutions.
- Conduct client meetings (in-person or virtual), prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform business strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field.2–5 years of experience in business development, preferably in B2B services like background verification, staffing, HR tech, or compliance.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to understand technical services and articulate their value to clients.Proven experience in generating leads and closing deals.Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.Proficient with MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :
Existing network of HR decision-makers and talent acquisition heads.Understanding of employment laws and compliance issues.Experience in selling SaaS or subscription-based services.Show more
