Our Team :
- At DWS 'Our strategy is to be the investment partner of choice' within Asset Management. We are looking for a Senior Team Manager to join our team in Bangalore or Pune and be part of our Operations leadership team in DWS India, directly reporting into the Global Head of Illiquid Asset Operations in London.
- The Illiquid Asset Operations ('IAO') team is responsible for the finance and operations of the Alternatives funds and products managed by DWS.
- The team has grown organically within regional and asset class specific hubs located in London, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, the US, Singapore, Korea and Australia.
- In order to facilitate these global value chains, IAO is establishing a completely new team in India and this role will be the first hire we make. As such we need an experienced Alternatives Operations professional who is able to, alongside the Global Head of IAO and his Management team, contribute to the design and build out of the global processes as well as building up the IAO India team in Bangalore and Pune and work on strategic initiatives with other key senior stakeholders from Business and Technology.

Partnering with Illiquid Asset Operations Senior Leadership to define and streamline processes which can be incorporated into a global value chain to support the local teams globallyBuild and lead IAO in India including the development of a TOM, hiring and training as well as partnering with other Operations teams outside of Alternatives asset classesWork alongside the global IAO Management team on strategic change initiatives to support business growth, Technology and Data strategic changes and RfPs around the vendor landscape TOM for IAOSupport global initiatives around governance and controls to meet regulatory requirementsIn partnership with the senior leadership develop a global reporting framework and develop efficiencies with existing Liquid Operations colleagues by harmonising existing processesMake IAO in India an efficient and scalable building block in the success of DWS by owning and managing the resources and investments in a forward-looking and sustainable wayBe a trendsetter and exemplary representative of DWS, using your knowledge, experience and network to establish standards and innovation in the AM industryPromote a culture of knowledge sharing within and across teams and act as a role model for entrepreneurial and sustainable actions in a global and hybrid operating modelYour skills and experience
Chartered Accountant10-15 years of professional experience in the area of fund finance and operations for Alternatives productsStrategic and entrepreneurial thinking, in-depth people management experienceGrowth mindset and can-do-attitudeExperience to work in global organizations with diverse teams and culturesHigh affinity and understanding of technology-based processes and system landscapeCommitted, thoroughly analytical thinker with a strong sense of responsibility, who sets priorities and has the ability to master challenges with confidenceStrong communication skills, business fluent in written and spoken EnglishHow we'll support you
