About this Role
We are seeking a Telecom Test Analyst to lead and manage end-to-end testing for telecom applications across BSS / OSS systems. This role involves validating services and platforms for mobile, fixed line, broadband, and TV products, ensuring quality delivery aligned with business goals. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert, driving test strategy, defect management, and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
What you will do
- Manage Customes Issues
- Manage test cycles and defect tracking.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA leads to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Drive automation initiatives using tools like Selenium and Jenkins.
- Provide estimations, conduct impact analysis, and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Represent the team in forums such as status calls, defect triages, and walkthroughs.
What skills you need
6–8 years of experience in software testing, preferably in telecom.Must be strong in customer managementShould have good customer negotiation skillsProficiency in API testing, SQL, and integration testing.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies (desired).Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and defect triaging skills.ISTQB Practitioner accreditation or equivalent certification (desired).Not a Perfect Fit?
