Detailed Responsibilities : Design and Development : Creating electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for systems, circuits, and components, often using CAD software. Component Selection : Choosing appropriate electrical components like MCBs, relays, PLCs, and more, based on project needs and specifications. Calculations and Analysis : Performing calculations related to electrical loads, power distribution, and system performance. Testing and Troubleshooting : Conducting tests on designs, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring functionality. Collaboration and Communication : Working with project managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Documentation : Preparing comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, test procedures, and as-built drawings. Staying Updated : Keeping abreast of industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. Quality Assurance : Ensuring designs and installations meet quality standards and safety regulations. Project Management : Potentially leading or contributing to project engineering design within the electrical discipline. Skills and Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Technical Skills : Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.), electrical design principles, and relevant industry standards.
