  • Job Requirement Qualification : B.E. / M.E. (CAE, Mechanical Engg., (Masters in Thermal))
  • Role : CFD Evaluation of Heat Exchangers

Responsibility :

  • CFD modeling & evaluation of Heat Exchangers using Ansys Fluent / Star CCM .
  • CAE modeling, Mesh Discretization, fluid parameters setting, etc..
  • Interpretation of CFD & Wind Tunnel results and generate ideas for maximum heat transfer.
  • Ability to work on pressure drop analysis problems using air / water as medium in heat exchangers.
  • Having knowledge on conjugative heat transfer analysis is desired.
  • Interact and participate in various Cross Functional Teams for providing feedback and driving counter measures related to Optimal Heat & Mass transfer.
  • Assisting with the design and release of engine cooling components with CFD.
  • Correlation of CFD results with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE methodology.
  • Support development of CFD methods related to emerging technologies like Electric Vehicles, etc..
  • Keep abreast with industry trends and benchmarked products for improving performance in Heat Exchangers.

    • Technical / Functional requirement :

  • Strong fundamentals of Fluid mechanics, Heat & Mass transfer, Turbulence & Laminar modelling.
  • Knowledge of CFD analysis & related experience in automotive domain.
  • Basic knowledge of Engine & Genset Cooling components.
  • Ability to prepare CAE models in Ansys Fluent software.
  • Ability to generate Heat Exchange performance enhancement proposals.
  • Exposure to wind tunnel testing will be an added advantage.
