Role Overview

The First Mile Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all first-mile operations — from warehouse pack to shipment dispatch — ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation of goods. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with suppliers, courier partners, and internal teams to maintain a seamless supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Track shipments from packing to dispatch, ensuring smooth movement through every stage of the first-mile process.
• Monitor on-time pickup of shipments from vendors and warehouses.
• Coordinate with courier partners to ensure timely pickup and connection to the next leg of delivery.
• Continuously monitor logistics dashboards and partner portals to track live shipment status and performance metrics.
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to resolve first-mile issues such as missed pickups, delays, RTOs, or connection problems.
• Maintain daily pickup performance reports, including delay reasons, exceptions, and escalations.
• Support and execute RTO inbound processes, including receiving shipments, system updates, and documentation.
• Identify and report process gaps, suggesting improvements for higher operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and SLAs in all logistics activities.
