ACCA Members with 4 - 5 years of experience in quality management audit. About the Role We are seeking a Assistant Manager to strengthen our firm's Quality, Risk, and Compliance framework. The role spans client and engagement acceptance, ethics and independence, quality management (ISQM / PCAOB), policy development, and annual reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong judgment, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to balance compliance with commercial needs.
Key Responsibilities Client & Engagement Acceptance
Review and approve client / engagement acceptance and continuance documentation.
Assess client integrity, independence, and risk factors; recommend acceptance or decline.
Update and refine acceptance processes in line with regulatory changes.
Engagement Letters & NDAs
Draft, review, and finalize engagement letters and NDAs, ensuring compliance with firm standards and legal requirements.
Maintain and update standard templates; advise teams on contractual risks.
Ethics & Independence
Manage Restricted Entity List and independence compliance communications.
Review breach reports and ensure timely resolution.
Guide teams on ethics queries and promote an ethical culture across the firm.
ISQM, Policies & Quality Management
Lead implementation and monitoring of ISQM and PCAOB QC 1000 standards.
Draft and update firm-wide policies and the Quality Management Manual.
Conduct the annual Quality Management Review (QMR) and prepare Forum of Firms reports.
Reporting & Governance
Prepare annual reports including Audit Quality Reports and KNAV International Limited's Annual Report.
Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Digital Integration & Admin
Partner with IT to automate acceptance, KYC, and compliance processes.
Maintain trackers (CPE, insurance, etc.) and oversee administrative compliance activities.
Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) Or Equivalent Professional Qualification.
4-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or quality assurance within professional services or audit.
Strong understanding of ISQM, PCAOB standards, independence requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
