Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior software engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Telecom messaging testing and automation.

Required Skills :

• Minimum 4 years in telecom / messaging / SMS / notifications or related domain with hands-on work in SMPP, APIs, SMTP or similar messaging protocols.
• Deep understanding of the SMPP protocol (versions such as 3.4 / 5.0), session management, PDU types, binds, etc.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, REST, status codes, etc.
• Experience integrating SMTP or email workflows
• Proficient with TCP / IP networking, ports, handling connectivity issues.
• Comfortable with Linux / Unix server environments (shell scripting, debugging).
• Experience with databases (SQL, maybe some NoSQL), reading and optimizing queries.
• Good with monitoring, logging, trace + packet capture analysis (Wireshark).
• Good programming / scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell, Perl or any language to write small tools / automation)
• Basic understanding of java script, UI automation and Performance
• Hands on experience on Test management tools
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills – able to interact with internal product / engineering / support teams.
