Job descriptionIdentify inefficiencies within the supply chain processes such as delays in production excessive inventory levels or issues with transportation logistics. Implement continuous monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of key processes. Regularly review and assess whether implemented improvements are yielding the desired results. Benchmark against industry best practices and standards to identify opportunities for improvement. Learn from successful case studies and adapt relevant practices to the plastic supply chain context. Establish off-take agreements and ensure the rates are negotiated as per market trends Audit Program Development Compliance Audits Quality Control Audits Supplier and Vendor due diligence and Audits Inventory Management Audits Security Audits Corrective Action Plans Documentation Audits Third-Party Audits Ethical Audits Provide actionable recommendations based on the survey findings emphasizing areas for improvement and potential enhancements to supply chain operations. Collect feedback from on-site personnel stakeholders and local communities to gain insights and perspectives beyond quantitative data. Verify compliance with local and international regulations related to the supply chain ensuring adherence to environmental safety and production standards. Implement safety protocols to address potential hazards during on-site visits and ensure the well-being of the survey team. Establish clear data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality integrity and security of data throughout the supply chain. Implement real-time monitoring tools to track and analyze supply chain data enabling timely decision-making and response to changing conditions. Establish procedures for data quality assurance including regular audits validation checks and correction of inaccuracies or inconsistencies. Implement master data management practices to ensure consistency and accuracy of critical data elements such as product codes supplier information and customer details. Continuously assess and improve data management processes incorporating feedback and staying abreast of industry best practices. Align supply chain projects with the broader strategic objectives of the organization contributing to overall business success. Design projects with built-in adaptability to respond to changes in market conditions technology advancements or unforeseen challenges. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance allowing for continuous evaluation and improvement. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and adhere to specifications. Implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees. This can include technical skills specific to the industry leadership skills and soft skills such as communication and problem-solving. Build capacity in technology integration by providing training on project management tools software and technologies relevant to the supply chain. This includes tools for logistics optimization inventory management systems and data analytics. Develop expertise in change management as part of project management capacity building. The supply chain is dynamic and projects often involve changes in processes systems or organizational structures. Equip project managers with the skills to navigate and manage change effectively. Build and leverage a strong professional network within the supply chain community. Attend industry conferences workshops and networking events to connect with potential clients partners and stakeholders. Explore and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the supply chain ecosystem.
