About the Role :
We are looking for a data-driven Supply Chain Business Analyst to optimize our end-to-end food supply operations — from procurement and production planning to distribution and last-mile delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistent product availability across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze supply chain data including procurement, logistics, warehouse, and inventory
performance.
Develop dashboards and reports to track key KPIs such as fill rate, wastage, lead time, and costper order.
Identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and recommend actionable improvements.Forecasting & Demand PlanningBuild data models to forecast product demand across different SKUs, geographies, and channels.Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align demand forecasts with production andprocurement.
Inventory & Procurement OptimizationMonitor inventory levels to balance product availability and minimize wastage, especially forperishable items.
Support procurement teams in vendor performance analysis, price trends, and material planning.Process ImprovementMap and analyze supply chain workflows to identify process bottlenecks.Recommend and help implement automation or system enhancements (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.).Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, finance, and technology teams to support strategic supply chaininitiatives.
Provide business insights to support decision-making for expansion, sourcing, and logistics.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency; experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau preferred.Understanding of supply chain concepts : demand planning, procurement, logistics, andinventory management.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or Zoho).Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain, business analysis, or operations within food, FMCG, orretail sectors.
Experience working with perishable goods or quick-turn inventory environments is a plus.
