SAP QA Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a SAP Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI) to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial solutions. This role involves planning, executing, and documenting test activities for SAP FI processes, enhancements, and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for SAP FI (AR / AP) functionality, enhancements, and integrations.

Define and execute regression, integration, UAT, performance, and compliance test scenarios.

Execute manual and / or automated test cases for AR / AP, eInvoicing, and VIM-related processes.

Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Solution Manager).

Work closely with functional and technical teams to validate fixes and retest.

Validate business processes in SAP Finance, including invoice posting, payment runs, dunning, and reconciliations.

Test integration points between SAP FI and other modules (MM, SD) and with external systems.

Ensure that eInvoicing and VIM processes meet local tax compliance and business requirements.

Utilize SAP testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager (Test Suite), CBTA, or third-party automation frameworks.

Recommend automation strategies for repetitive finance testing scenarios.

Maintain detailed test documentation, including test scripts, test evidence, and sign-off reports.

Provide regular status updates on test progress, defect trends, and risk areas to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years of QA experience in SAP Finance module testing, including AR and AP processes.

Exposure to integration testing between SAP FI and MM, SD, and external systems.

Strong understanding of SAP Finance business processes and configuration concepts.

Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools.

Ability to design and execute end-to-end business process tests.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

SAP Finance module certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience in testing eInvoicing solutions (SAP eDocument Cockpit or third-party like Pagero).

Experience testing OpenText VIM workflows, OCR processing, and integration with SAP FI.
