We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Administrator with a strong Linux background and hands-on experience managing production-grade OpenShift clusters (OCP v4). The candidate will be responsible for installing,updating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting OpenShift environments in on-prem (VMware) .

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform end-to-end OpenShift installation and configuration on VMware-based on-prem environments.
- Configure DNS, storage, networking, and logging solutions for OpenShift clusters.
- Administer and manage production OpenShift Container Platform (OCP v4) clusters.
- Manage OpenShift Operators including installation, upgrade, and lifecycle.
- Implement and troubleshoot OpenShift core components (Registry, Routes, Pods, etc.).
- Develop and automate operational processes using Shell scripting and tools like Ansible.
- Maintain system performance, uptime, and security.
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for all infrastructure and operations.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Networking, and Security teams to ensure smooth CI / CD and monitoring setup.
- Collaborate with ISD and infosec to resolve infosec related issue .
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experienceHands-on experience with OpenShift (v4 preferred) in production environments.Experience configuring DNS, storage, and networking for OpenShift.Strong understanding of OpenShift architecture and core concepts (pods, lifecycle, routes, registry).Experience managing logging solutions in OpenShift environments.Knowledge and hands-on experience in Shell scripting for automation tasks.Experience with OpenShift troubleshooting, pod error management, and container lifecycle.Experience in handling info related tasksGood to Have :
Basic understanding of GitLab CI / CD workflows.Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.Exposure to Logging and Monitoring toolsBasic networking knowledge (IPTables, firewalld, routing concepts).Familiarity with VMware vSphere infrastructure.
