Job Summary

The Senior Plant Manager will lead all aspects of manufacturing operations for JLGs new Pune facility ensuring safety quality cost and delivery objectives are achieved. This role will oversee end-to-end production planning execution and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of operational excellence and team engagement.

The leader will be responsible for driving manufacturing performance coordinating cross-functional alignment ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving the plants strategic and operational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all internal and external operations related to parts supply for the main product line including purchasing and component planning.
• Develop and execute production schedules aligned with demand forecasts capacity and inventory targets.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team including Industrial Engineering Quality and Purchasing to ensure material readiness and production efficiency.
• Prioritize production based on customer needs profitability and business priorities.
• Establish contingency and risk mitigation plans for material availability and on-time product delivery.
• Define and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting operational continuity.
• Track analyze and report plant performance against key metrics schedules and business objectives.
• Ensure proactive communication and alignment with corporate functions on schedules quality and cost performance.
• Build and sustain a high-performing team capable of supporting both near-term goals and long-term business growth.
