Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GEM / Tender Executive with at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing government e-marketplace (GEM) and tender-related activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end GEM portal operations, tender documentation, bidding processes, and ensuring timely submission of tenders as per government and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor and identify relevant tenders on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
Analyse tender documents, including eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and financial requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to collect necessary documents and information for tender submissions.
Prepare, review, and submit accurate bids on the GeM portal in compliance with deadlines and regulations.
Draft and proofread both technical and financial proposals to ensure clarity and compliance.
Ensure timely registration, renewal, and maintenance of vendor accounts on the GeM portal.
Keep product and service catalogues on the GeM platform up to date and optimized.
Verify all submissions align with tender requirements and government procurement regulations.
Maintain comprehensive records of tender notices, bid submissions, contracts, and related documentation.
Conduct market research to identify new tender opportunities and trends in public procurement.
Foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies and suppliers.
Track and analyse bid outcomes and success rates to improve future performance.
Generate regular reports for management on tender activities, market opportunities, and strategic insights.
Qualifications and Skills :
Educational Background :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience :
2+years of experience in tender management, (experience with Gem platform preferred).
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in using the GeM portal and other e-procurement platforms.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
