Data Migration Architect - ETL / Python

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Architect to lead the design, planning, and execution of complex data migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data architecture, ETL processes, cloud / on-premise migration, and database technologies.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to ensure seamless migration with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement end-to-end data migration strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Assess source and target systems to define migration scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
• Develop data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation rules to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, and data governance teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Architect and oversee ETL / ELT pipelines, automation scripts, and migration tools for large-scale projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to data migration teams during planning, execution, and testing phases.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards.
• Conduct post-migration validation and performance tuning for optimized system operations.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud migration trends (AWS, Azure, GCP) and recommend best practices.
