RISA was founded by Kshitij Jaggi and Kumar Shivang, IIT Kanpur alumni with a proven track record from their previous healthcare startup, Urban Health. Their vision is to streamline oncology care through cutting-edge technology.

Funding

RISA Labs is backed by $3.5 million in seed funding, led by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, with support from Oncology Ventures, General Catalyst, z21 Ventures, Odd Bird VC, and angel investor Ashish Gupta.

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET with a strong background in frontend and backend test automation, specifically for applications built with React and Node.js. You are a developer at heart with a passion for quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our end-to-end test automation frameworks. You will work closely with our development teams to embed quality into the CI / CD pipeline, ensuring our React-based UIs and Node.js APIs are robust, scalable, and bug-free. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can mentor junior members and drive our overall test strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development : Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable automation frameworks for testing our React frontend
• Test Strategy : Own the end-to-end test strategy, from test planning and case design to execution and reporting
• End-to-End & API Testing : Write, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress or Jest. Develop and automate robust API tests for our RESTful services
• CI / CD Integration : Integrate automated test suites into our CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to enable continuous testing and delivery
• Collaboration : Work closely with frontend (React) and backend (Python) developers to understand new features, identify potential issues, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Mentorship : Mentor junior QA engineers, review test code, and promote automation best practices across the engineering team
• Defect Management : Triage, debug, and report failed test results, working with developers to ensure timely resolution
