Job description

The role is within the Vehicle Integration Team for supporting & managing existing current projects. As a Current Project Support Engineer aka Existing Product Support Engineer (EPS), you will be responsible for managing and resolving field issues across Zeno’s deployed vehicles.

Location : Bengaluru, India – WFO – 5 days a week

The Role

The role is within the Vehicle Integration Team for supporting & managing existing current projects. As a Current Project Support Engineer aka Existing Product Support Engineer (EPS), you will be responsible for managing and resolving field issues across Zeno’s deployed vehicles. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration between the field team in Kenya and the engineering team in India to ensure timely resolution of issues, permanent fixes, and continuous improvement in product reliability.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for field issue resolution.
  • Gather and analyze field feedback from the Kenya team.
  • As vehicle integrator you are required to work on design concepts to resolve the field reported issues, work closely with design engineers for solutions
  • Collaborate with the India engineering team to plan and implement root cause analysis (RCA), containment actions, and rework plans. Identify future ECNs that needs to be implemented in current production plan
  • Prepare & maintain Service BOM (SBOM) work with East Africa team to ensure SBOM remains true. Coordinate with sourcing for procurement & supplier quality of the same
  • Coordinate logistics for spares and replacement parts to resolve customer issues in the field.
  • Ensure permanent design or process fixes are implemented to prevent recurrence in future products.
  • Based on the field issues, raise IRTs (Issue Resolution Tracking System). At times carry out design activities and design releases for field supply components
  • Align with engineering for commonization of parts & interchangeability studies with reference to current projects to support future projects
  • Work closely with Field team to align on field priorities and execution plans.
  • Maintain structured documentation of issues, resolutions, and preventive actions.

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years of experience in product support, quality, or field engineering, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
  • Strong skills in RCA, issue tracking, and corrective / preventive action planning.
  • Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to drive fast and effective problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate between cross-functional and international teams.
  • Ability to manage spares planning, logistics, and rework execution.
  • Passion for improving product quality and customer experience in the field.
