As a Video Editor – Reels , you’ll be the creative mind that transforms raw footage into scroll-stopping, binge-worthy content. From snappy transitions to trending edits, effects, and audio syncs — you’ll craft reels that spark engagement, tell stories, and bring brands closer to their audience.

You’ll work closely with cinematographers, social media strategists, and designers to ensure every reel not only looks stunning but also performs. This role is perfect for someone who lives on trends, has an eye for detail, and thrives on fast turnarounds.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts or similar short-form content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro.
• Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, trending formats, and audio syncs.
• Ability to repurpose content into multiple formats / platforms.
• Bonus : skills in color grading, motion graphics, or VFX.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with creativity and precision.
• Awareness of social media trends, meme culture, and viral formats.

Proven experience as a Writer, Director, or Content Creator in an agency or digital content setting. Strong understanding of storytelling for short-form video (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok). Ability to conceptualize and execute scripts quickly while maintaining creative excellence. Experience directing on-set with models, actors, and production teams Familiarity with camera work, lighting, and editing basics. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. A portfolio of reels, short films, or branded content that demonstrates creativity and direction skills
