Storyteller (Scripting, Video Editing & Directorship)
Position Overview
We are looking for a creative Storyteller who can bring ideas to life through powerful narratives, engaging scripts, impactful video editing, and strong directorial vision . This role demands a mix of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to conceptualize, script, direct, and edit high-quality video content that resonates with our target audience.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, hands-on experience in video production, and the ability to guide a project from idea to final execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Scripting & Conceptualization
- Develop engaging story ideas, scripts, and dialogues for videos, campaigns, and digital content.
- Translate brand messages into compelling visual narratives.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align content with campaign objectives.
- Directorship
- Lead video shoots; ensuring creative vision is executed effectively.
- Guide actors, presenters, and production crew to bring the script to life.
- Make real-time decisions on set for creative direction, lighting, sound, and scene flow.
- Video Editing
- Edit raw footage into polished final cuts using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects).
- Add visual effects, transitions, sound design, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain high-quality standards while meeting project deadlines.
- Creative Strategy
- Research content trends to create fresh, audience-relevant stories.
- Innovate new ways to tell stories across different formats (short-form, reels, long-form, branded content).
- Ensure brand consistency across all video and digital outputs.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills with creative flair.Expertise in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).Directorial skills with experience in managing shoots, sets, and creative teams.Ability to visualize concepts and translate them into engaging video content.Knowledge of lighting, sound, camera angles, and cinematography basics.Creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Film Making, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.2–5 years of experience in storytelling, video editing, and direction.Portfolio showcasing previous video projects (scripted, directed, and edited).Experience in branded content, digital marketing campaigns, or short films.Role Highlights
