Serve as a Tableau evangelist for the organization, mentoring and upskilling internal Tableau development teams on dashboard efficiency, query optimization, and visualization best practices. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure optimized data pipelines, queries, and data models supporting Tableau use cases. Ensure alignment with overall cloud and big data architecture standards. Must-Have Skills : 10-15 years of overall experience in reporting, BI, and analytics, with at least 5 -7 years specialized in Tableau platform architecture and administration. Deep expertise in Tableau Systems Architecture, Tableau Server, Tableau Online, Tableau Prep, and Hyper Extracts. Proven experience connecting Tableau with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP 7.1) and managing large data volume performance optimization. Strong understanding of networking, authentication (SAML, LDAP), permissions models, and security configuration within Tableau. Ability to guide and mentor developers on building efficient, scalable, and high-performing Tableau dashboards and extracts. Strong troubleshooting skills across Tableau Server, workbooks, extracts, and live connections. Excellent understanding of in-memory processing, data extracts, incremental refreshes, and query tuning. Knowledge of resource management, server clustering, and load balancing concepts for Tableau deployments. Preferred Certifications : Tableau Certified Associate Architect / Certified Server Professional Any certification related to Cloudera Data Platform or Big Data Systems is a plus Soft Skills : Strong communication and mentoring abilities to engage with development and leadership teams. Proactive, hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset. Ability to document architectures, operational procedures, and training material for users and administrators.
