About the Role

Westpac has a proud legacy of sustainability leadership. As we continue to evolve our approach, we’re seeking a strategic and customer-focused leader to join our team as Head of Sustainability Customer Strategy.  This role is pivotal in embedding sustainability across our customer-facing divisions, helping our people support customers in creating positive sustainability outcomes.

You’ll lead the development of Westpac’s sustainability customer value proposition, ensuring alignment with our corporate strategy and stakeholder expectations. You’ll also advise on material sustainability topics such as climate, human rights, and nature, and help shape the future of sustainable finance at Westpac.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide sustainability customer value proposition.
• Identify and develop customer opportunities that deliver cross-divisional value.
• Support divisions in developing customer products, insights, and tools, removing enterprise-wide barriers where needed.
• Oversee the refresh and integration of Westpac’s Sustainable Finance Framework.
• Monitor global best practices and adapt them to Westpac’s context.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic sustainability outcomes.
