Job Brief – Finance & Accounting Analyst
We are seeking a General & Operational Accounting Analyst to join our Global Business Support Services Team. The role will focus on the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle within the general ledger process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting, combined with solid analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the general ledger.
- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Manage bank reconciliations (BRS), fixed assets accounting, accruals, and related activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, controls, and SLAs.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate and cooperate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Provide team support, including management and resolution of team issues.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and reporting activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Commerce, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification in the finance domain.Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in general ledger accounting (insert based on requirement).Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes.Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.Hands-on experience with ERP systems – SAP preferred.Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.Soft Skills
Knowledge of accounting standards and reporting practices.Proven ability in financial reporting and reconciliations.Ability to work effectively within tight timelines and deadlines.Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.Resilient under pressure, with strong stress management and patience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Skills Required
