About the Role
The Senior IT Ops Engineer will troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensure optimal system performance, and manage the configuration of new software and hardware. This role requires strong expertise in Apple macOS, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat.
- Manage employee and contractor onboarding / offboarding processes.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Assist System Administrators with daily operational challenges.
- Upgrade network devices to the latest firmware versions.
- Train new system users and manage account setup.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of servers, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and support Zoom Rooms, AV systems, and meeting room configurations.
- Provide advanced support for macOS / Windows devices and MDM platforms.
- Ensure smooth deployment of new applications.
- Maintain and update IT and technical documentation.
- Contribute to projects that improve helpdesk efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships.
- Support and administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms such as OneLogin or Okta.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (BSc / BA).Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator – MCSA) preferred.Fluency in English.5+ years hands-on experience with Apple MDM Jamf Pro .5+ years hands-on experience with Workspace One MDM .5+ years professional experience as an IT Engineer.Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).Strong understanding of LAN / WAN networks.Knowledge of system security practices and techniques.In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Fortigate, Crowdstrike, and VC Systems .Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Skills Required
