Engineering Manager - Web Development Framework

Position : Engineering Manager

Location : Gurgaon

Experience : 5-8 years

Budget : 35-50 LPA

Note :

1. We are looking for candidates who had a working / worked in a Tier 1 product company.

2 : Engineering or Management candidates from Tier 1 college

What You'll do :

1. Lead a talented team of engineers to build and deliver world-class consumer-facing applications of highly scalable services.

2. Partner with Business Product owners as well as senior engineering leaders to create a vision and roadmap for the team.

3. Drive design discussions, technology choices, and participate in design & code reviews.

4. You are responsible for building processes for teams, champion product thinking and provide technical leadership..

5. Hiring, mentoring and developing engineers and leaders in the Tech & Engineering organization.

6. Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams like PM, Operations, etc. and translate business requirements into engineering implementation plans.

Requirements :

• 5-8 years of industry experience, with 1-2 years in a managerial role managing a team of at least 10-15 engineers.
• Must have hired and mentored team members to be successful in both technical and soft-skills areas.
• Thorough clarity and understanding on the choice of a Management career track.
• Hands-on development experience in any web development framework like Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Django, Spring.
• Hands-on experience in programming languages like Java, Python, Javascript, Ruby & the latest programing lang.
• Hands-on experience in front-end frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, Node JS, BackboneJS, JQuery etc.
• Hands-on experience in data modeling and query optimization in relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB etc.
• Must have designed, developed, deployed, and maintained large-scale web applications on the cloud.
• Proven demonstration of learning new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies towards new product development.
