Platform Product Owner – Salesforce

We’re looking for a Platform Product Owner to lead the Salesforce ecosystem supporting the Commercial Insurance Tribe. This role focuses on centralised customer data, platform lifecycle management, and strategic delivery. You’ll guide a Salesforce squad, manage vendor relationships, and ensure platform excellence across architecture, governance, and integration.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Salesforce Commercial Insurance platform squad to deliver strategic initiatives, enhancements, and BAU support aligned with business priorities.
• Translate Commercial Insurance Tribe goals into actionable work, owning the backlog and removing delivery blockers.
• Drive platform roadmap execution, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and customer experience goals.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party tools (e.g., DocuSign, RIVA, Marketing Cloud), ensuring integration and compliance.
• Oversee platform governance, DevOps practices, and lifecycle management including license utilisation and documentation.
• Advocate for platform needs in strategic forums, ensuring prioritisation and alignment with organisational goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Certified Salesforce Administrator with 5+ years in platform management or product ownership.
• Proven leadership in Salesforce delivery across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, Lightning platform, and integration methods.
• Experience managing centralised customer data and driving platform simplification.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and navigating competing priorities.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and support compelling business cases.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., APRA CPS 234) and ITIL-aligned service management.
