Designation : General Manager - Accounts
Location : Pune
Key Responsibilities :
1. Billing Management
- Oversee end-to-end billing operations and ensure accuracy of invoices.
- Coordinate with business teams to validate billing inputs and contracts.
- Ensure timely release of invoices and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor recurring, variable, and project-based billing.
- Resolve billing discrepancies quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Revenue, Billing & Collections
Lead billing cycles, credit controls, invoicing accuracy, and reconciliations.Drive collection strategies to maintain healthy cash flow and reduce ageing.Coordinate with business teams to resolve billing / revenue issues on time.3. Payroll, Banking & Treasury
Oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions, and payouts.Manage banking relationships, fund planning, daily treasury operations, and cash-flow forecasting.Monitor working capital, vendor payments, and treasury compliance4. Accounting & Operations
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, monthly / quarterly closures, and compliance.Ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.Implement strong internal controls and strengthen financial processes. Handle audits (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely completion.5. People Leadership
Lead and mentor a 15-member finance team.Build capability, streamline workflows, and drive a culture of accountability.Improve efficiency through automation and better MIS practices.Required Experience & Skills :
12–18 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.Proven experience managing revenue of ~₹250 crore or more.Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audits, and MIS. Experience leading multi-functional teams (Billing, Payroll, Treasury, Collections).Good command of ERP systems and advanced Excel.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Requirements
12–18 years of experience in Accounting & Finance. Proven experience managing revenue of ~₹250 crore or more. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audits, and MIS. Experience leading multi-functional teams (Billing, Payroll, Treasury, Collections). Good command of ERP systems and advanced Excel. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
