Altizon - Senior Software Engineer - Java / Python

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team knowledge Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 35 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or others relevant to the tech stack.
• Experience with web application development frameworks and technologies.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with database design and SQL.
• Excellent communication and teamwork Qualifications :
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and automation.
• Understanding of microservices architecture
