We are seeking Cloud Applications Engineers to join our Bangalore-based team, responsible for ensuring the development, deployment, reliability, maintainability, and evolution of our cloud-native products. This role combines application development with cloud infrastructure ownership, focusing on enhancing system performance, observability, and feature delivery across our Google Cloud-based stack. You will work hands-on with backend, frontend, and data systems while also applying DevOps best practices to streamline deployment and system operations.
Responsibilities :
- Build and enhance features in our applications using Python, Node.js, and React.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
- Improve system reliability and maintainability through automation, refactoring, and monitoring.
- Own and manage CI / CD pipelines to ensure seamless and secure deployments.
- Build operational dashboards using Superset and other observability tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, scale, and uptime.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and apply learnings to prevent recurrence.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend-focused cloud engineering roles.Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud ecosystems.Solid command of SQL and experience working with large datasets.Comfort with both application development and cloud infrastructure.Familiarity with CI / CD, monitoring, and observability best practices.Strong debugging skills and a bias for improving system design over time.Experience with Superset or similar BI / dashboarding tools.Prior experience building data products or analytics-driven systems.Exposure to performance tuning on GCP (especially BigQuery, Cloud SQL).Knowledge of security and access control in cloud environments.Tech Stack :
