Dispute Resolution Specialist

We are a litigation firm with over half a century of experience in the field of dispute resolution and advisory work. Working across uniquely diverse areas of practice involving white collar / serious crimes, corporate, commercial, real estate disputes, arbitrations and constitutional law matters. We have an extensive experience conducting trials as well as handling appeals in the above mentioned matters. We have offices in Cochin and Trivandrum but handle work all over Kerala and in Chennai, Bangalore & at Delhi.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Associate at V.Ajakumar & Associates in Kochi. The Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks in matters which are entrusted to them and will work closely with clients in coordinating legal strategy, drafting, filing and appearances.

Qualifications

• Legal degree from an accredited institution
• Proficiency in English and a working knowledge of Malayalam.
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Experience in legal research and drafting legal documents is a plus
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations in Kochi area is preferred.

Remuneration offered will be at par with market standards and negotiable based on the length and relevance of the candidate's work history and the skills developed through their prior professional experiences. Applicants with prior experience in drafting and filing pleadings before the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunals will be given priority.
