IT Principal Consultant – Planning & S&OP (Aurora Program)

Project Context :

This is a strategic global transformation initiative focused on redesigning and deploying advanced planning capabilities across markets. The consultant will support the Planning workstream —contributing to data validation, functional and user acceptance testing, deployment, and post–go-live stabilization.

Role Summary :

The IT Principal Consultant will play a key role in implementing Planning and S&OP processes across APAC markets , working closely with the Aurora Planning project team, DTS, regional business units, and IT to ensure the successful delivery of program milestones.

Key Responsibilities :

Support the design and configuration of planning processes and tools.

Validate inbound / outbound data and statistical forecasting models .

Participate in Pre-UAT functional testing and UAT execution .

Collaborate with business units for issue / bug triage and resolution .

Develop test cases and ensure test data / environment readiness .

Support defect resolution and stakeholder walkthroughs / sign-offs .

Contribute to change management , training materials , and documentation .

Provide hands-on support during cutover and hypercare phases, monitoring data accuracy and performance.

Partner with regional teams to drive consistency in execution and adoption .

Required Skills & Experience :

2–3 years of experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar advanced planning tools.

Background in Planning, S&OP, forecasting, or supply chain analytics .

Proven UAT experience —test case creation, defect tracking, and stakeholder alignment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.

SAP / APO experience preferred (especially for Supply Planning).

Proficiency in Excel ; familiarity with Azure DevOps (training can be provided).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-regional project environment .

Engagement Details :

Work Hours : Flexible, aligned to project milestones and testing schedules. May require coordination across North American and APAC time zones.

Work Setup : Remote; candidates must use their own devices . Occasional office visits may be required for local candidates.

Work Scope : Hands-on testing, data validation, coordination, root cause analysis, training support, and change documentation.
