Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, taxation (Direct & Indirect), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Handle complete accounting operations in Tally ERP.
Prepare and finalize standalone financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Prepare and file monthly / quarterly GST returns.
Handle GST reconciliations (Books vs GSTR-2A / 2B).
Manage Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) compliance.
Prepare replies to GST notices and manage GST demand and assessment proceedings.
Ensure timely deduction, payment, and reconciliation of TDS.
Oversee TDS return filings and coordinate with consultants as needed.
Address mismatches and assist in TDS demand or assessment cases.
Assist in computation and filing of income tax returns.
Handle income tax assessments, replies to notices, and demand resolution.
Coordinate with consultants / lawyers for tax litigation, if any.
Prepare timely and accurate MIS reports for senior management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Generate reports on profitability, cost analysis, and other financial metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience : Minimum 2 years post-qualification, preferably in an NBFC or financial institution.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax laws.
Good understanding of Accounting Standards and financial reporting norms.
