Role OverView
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced professional to be our Remote Operations & Coordination Manager. This key role is about making sure our business runs perfectly every day, while also providing essential, high-level support to our Directors.
If you are a great manager who loves to get things done, simplify processes, and is comfortable with a technical environment, this is for you. Your main job is to keep the business operating smoothly and to help the Directors stay organized and focused.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will cover two main areas : Operations Management and Director Support.
1. Managing Day-to-Day Operations
- Keep Things Running : Oversee all daily business activities to make sure operations are excellent and efficient across all teams.
- Team Leadership : Lead, train, and mentor our operational and technical support teams to keep them productive and performing well.
- Fixing and Improving Processes : Find ways to make our workflows better, faster, and simpler. Design and put into action new strategies to help the company grow.
- Resource Planning : Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure we have the right people in the right places to meet business needs.
- Performance Tracking : Measure and report on our key business goals (KPIs) to the Directors, making sure teams are accountable.
- Inter-Team Connection : Be the main link between technical teams, management, and other departments for smooth project work.
2. Director & Administrative Support
Executive Organization : Help the Directors manage their day-to-day schedules and calendars, making sure their time is prioritized and structured effectively.Meeting Preparation : Organize and prepare materials (documents, reports, agendas) for important business meetings and presentations.Key Communications : Handle high-level communications and documents, acting as a discreet filter and primary point of contact for the Directors.People Coordination : Assist with coordination of staff resources, including simple tasks related to onboarding new team members and managing key staff records.What are we looking for :
Experience : At least 5+ years in an Operations Manager role, ideally in the IT or Telecommunications industry.Education : A degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred.Execution & Drive : A proven history of not just managing, but actually executing tasks and driving results —a true "get it done" person.Technical Knowledge : A solid understanding of IT services and how technical support environments work.Organization : Exceptional planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on impeccable coordination and calendar management.Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills for clear reporting, documentation, and team guidance in a remote setting.Does this revision capture the mix of the Operations Manager and the practical, day-structuring support for the Directors you were looking for?Compensation and Benefits
Compensation : $1,800 - $2,000 CAD / Monthly (Commensurate with experience and proven track record).
