Job Description

• Lead procurement for a diverse range of materials including consumables, fittings, piping, flange work, hardware, valves, steel raw materials, and specialty steels.
• Manage procurement processes for international clients, particularly from the US and EU regions.
• Engage directly with suppliers, including hands-on interactions and shop floor experience.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM / ASME and ISO / DIN standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to supplier negotiations and relationship management.
• Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in procurement.

The Successful Applicant

• Atleast 10 years years of relevant procurement experience.
• Strong exposure to procurement for US markets and EPC companies is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of ASTM / ASME standards as well as ISO / DIN standards.
• Experience in heavy engineering, oil & gas sector, or industrial manufacturing is preferred. Candidates from automotive backgrounds are considered only if they have relevant experience.
• Diversity in procurement experience, including plastics and packaging, is a plus.
