Lead Quality Analyst / Tester

Job descriptionLead the planning, execution, and reporting of tests across web and mobile applications. Manage testing efforts for third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, HRMS) to ensure seamless functionality. Conduct regression, performance, security, and load testing, utilizing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and OWASP ZAP. Perform both manual and automated testing to verify application functionality, scalability, and security and performance testing. Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and other automation tools. Implement automation best practices and continually enhance the test automation framework. Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Work with the fresher to ensure all key functionalities are tested. Act as the key technical contact for clients, providing detailed insights on QA processes and progress. Deliver comprehensive test reports, focusing on identified issues, risks, and recommendations. Lead discussions on quality improvements and testing methodologies with stakeholders and clients. Lead the QA team by mentoring junior testers and guiding them in both manual and automation testing techniques. Oversee and coordinate the team's efforts in testing, while ensuring high-quality deliverables. Support other teams in cross-functional project work, acting as a subject matter expert when needed. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Foster close collaboration with development and product teams, ensuring a streamlined testing process.
Test Strategy and Design :
- Design and implement test strategies for complex applications, ensuring test coverage across both web and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
- Define testing standards, methods, and processes to ensure consistency in testing across different projects.
- Oversee the design of test cases and scenarios, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are covered.
