Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QBO Accountant located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The QBO Accountant will be responsible for daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, managing payroll administration, performing bank reconciliations, and handling general ledger accounting. Additionally, the QBO Accountant will manage document preparation for year-end 1099s & W-2s, ensure accurate period close statements, assist with financial and regulatory reporting, and handle accounts receivable and payable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, General Ledger Accounting, and Bank Reconciliation
• Experience with Payroll Administration, including recording payroll journals
• Skilled in preparing Financial Statements and Regulatory Reporting
• Competence in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Order Management
• Excellent analytical skills for Reporting & Analysis, including sales trend and revenue forecast
• Ability to manage year-end documents such as 1099s & W-2s
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the accounting industry is a plus
