Role Description
We are seeking an
AI Agent Engineer
who will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing the intelligent systems that power our safe, voice-enabled healthcare agents. This role sits at the intersection of LLMs, real-time voice technologies, advanced retrieval systems, and healthcare-focused product engineering. You will collaborate deeply with Engineering and product leaders to bring cutting-edge multimodal AI solutions into production. Your work will directly shape how healthcare professionals and patients safely interact with next-generation agentic AI across large-scale operational workflows.
AI Systems & Pipeline Engineering
Design, build, and optimize production-grade AI pipelines supporting real-time, voice-based, and text-based healthcare agents.
Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-step reasoning, and multi-agent architectures tailored for healthcare workflows.
Prototype and deploy zero-to-one features using state-of-the-art LLMs, vector databases, and streaming systems—balancing innovation with safety and reliability.
Conversational & Voice-Based AI Development
Develop AI-native workflows enabling long-running, context-aware, and clinically safe conversational interactions.
Work with speech recognition, text-to-speech, and latency-sensitive streaming pipelines to support fluid voice interactions.
Healthcare Workflow Integration
Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and platform teams to translate complex healthcare and RCM workflows into robust AI-driven experiences.
Ensure all model behaviors align with healthcare protocols, compliance requirements, and real-world operational needs.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Build and refine evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, latency, and user experience.
Conduct ongoing model and agent testing to ensure performance meets clinical-grade safety standards.
Develop observability, monitoring, and feedback systems to continuously improve agent reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years
of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI systems development.
Proven experience building and shipping
AI / ML-powered products
in production environments.
Strong proficiency in
Python
, distributed systems, data pipelines, and API-driven architectures.
Deep understanding of
prompt engineering
vector databases
retrieval systems (RAG)
, and / or
voice agents
Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS / GCP) and modern DevOps tooling (Terraform, CI / CD, observability, monitoring).
