Key Responsibilities :

• Co-Design a Modern Data Platform : Work closely with our data engineering team to co-design a data platform that supports both application and reporting needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Data Architecture Design : Lead the design of the technical architecture for a modern data platform, aligning it with best practices for Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
• Cost Optimization : Identify and implement optimizations to reduce costs across our Azure services, including deduplication and efficient data storage solutions.
• Azure Data Lake Improvements : Consolidate multiple data workspaces within Azure Data Lake for better management, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Data Modeling : Assist in detailed data modeling at table and view granularity, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Data Source Consolidation : Streamline data sources to improve management, governance, and data quality, laying the foundation for future data initiatives.
