Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our marketing team. This role will focus on creating engaging video content that supports our brand storytelling, demand generation campaigns, and employer branding efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, has a good eye for detail, and can adapt long-form content into impactful short-form videos.
Key Responsibilities
Create short-form video snippets from podcasts, webinars, client case studies, and events.
Edit long-form videos into engaging social media reels, shorts, and teasers optimised for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
Build and maintain a structured video library (client testimonials, explainer videos, product demos, “What we do” stories).
Ensure consistent branding, style, and messaging across all videos.
Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and animations to improve engagement and clarity.
Ensure all videos are optimized for multi-platform publishing (aspect ratios, resolution, thumbnails).
Work closely with the content, social media, and marketing teams to align video outputs with campaigns.
Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet campaign deadlines.
Value-Added Tasks
Experiment with creative video formats (interactive clips, animated explainers, AI-driven edits).
Optimize video content for SEO (titles, descriptions, tags) to improve visibility on YouTube and Google.
Track performance metrics (views, watch time, engagement) and provide recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on latest trends in video marketing, AI / automation tools, and editing best practices.
Requirements
Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Basic knowledge of motion graphics, typography, and sound design.
Understanding of social media video formats and trends (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram).
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio of past editing work (academic, freelance, or professional).
Requirements
