Role : Growth Strategist

Location : Coimbatore

Experience : 15 - 20 years

Reports to : MD

Position Overview :

Our client is looking for a Growth Strategist to be a key player in driving business growth across multiple sectors. The Growth Strategist will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to expand the customer base, improve retention and maintain a competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a data-driven approach to help guide the company s growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive growth strategies that align with the company s long-term objectives.
  • New Business Development : Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention : Develop and execute strategies to attract new customers and strengthen relationships with existing ones to maximize loyalty.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Leverage data analytics to improve marketing, sales, and operational efficiencies, driving better business outcomes.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
  • Oversee Marketing : Manage and optimize marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently in collaboration with external vendors.
  • Stakeholder Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with growth goals.
  • Market Insights : Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts to refine and adjust growth strategies.
  • Innovation & Agility : Promote the adoption of new technologies and business practices that foster agility, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Skills & Qualities :

  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to anticipate future trends and plan effectively for long-term growth.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to lead teams and drive business expansion, with experience in scaling businesses.
  • Analytical Expertise : Strong experience using data to drive decisions and improve business performance.
  • Cross-Functional Knowledge : Expertise in both B2B and B2C business models, with a track record of success in both.
  • Customer Focused : A deep understanding of customer needs and how they drive business growth.
  • Desired Profile :

  • MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Significant experience in scaling businesses, especially in high-growth environments, is highly desirable.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a large organization with a demonstrated ability to progress quickly within the company.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial roles or working in start-up environments would be an added advantage.
  • Age Range : 35-45 years
