About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and automation initiatives.
In this role, youll work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline software delivery, ensure system scalability and security, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.
You will play a critical role in designing and maintaining high-availability, cloud-native infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about building robust, automated, and resilient Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines to automate code deployment, testing, and delivery processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure), ensuring scalability, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and maintain system reliability, performance, and availability through tools such as Prometheus,
Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
Set up and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS / EKS.Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments, environment parity, and fast recovery mechanisms.Design and implement automated backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.Ensure infrastructure and pipelines follow security best practices, compliance standards, and operational excellence.Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.Provide technical mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and drive the adoption of DevOps culture acrossthe Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role in a production environment.Strong hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform : AWS, GCP, or Azure.Expertise in building and managing CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or similar.Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Proficient with Linux system administration, bash scripting, and shell utilities.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / GKE / AKS), including cluster management and monitoring.Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPCs, and load balancers.Experience with monitoring and logging tools : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.Strong understanding of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and collaboration workflows.Knowledge of DevSecOps, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tools (e.g., Vault, Snyk, Aqua Security)(ref : hirist.tech)
