As the Director of Engineering, you will partner closely with product, operations, and executive leadership teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions, optimize engineering practices, and mentor engineering leaders and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define the engineering vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide leadership across engineering teams to ensure high productivity, quality, and delivery.
- Drive continuous innovation, scalability, and adoption of best practices.
- Team Development & Management
- Build, manage, and mentor engineering managers, leads, and senior engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Develop talent by providing coaching, guidance, and clear career progression pathways.
- Technology & Architecture
- Oversee system architecture, technical design, and engineering excellence.
- Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions across platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that provide a competitive advantage.
- Execution & Delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality products.
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
- Establish strong engineering processes, CI / CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with product leaders to align technology initiatives with customer needs and business growth.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on engineering performance and progress.
- Partner with operations, HR, and finance to plan resource allocation and budgeting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles .Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and delivering complex, scalable solutions.Strong knowledge of software development, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with short-term execution.Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
