Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CAM Engineer(3-6 years) to prepare and optimize CNC machining operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CAM software, understand manufacturing processes, and be able to translate engineering drawings into efficient, accurate machining programs.
Key Responsibilities :
1 . CAM Programming & Process Optimization
- Prepare CNC machining operations for milling, turning, drilling, and other processes.
- Use CAM software (CAMWorks, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or FeatureCAM) to generate toolpaths and optimize machining sequences.
- Verify and simulate toolpaths to ensure collision-free machining.
- Implement improvements in machining efficiency, cycle time, and quality.
2.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.Contribute to digital manufacturing initiatives, including digital twins or virtual machining simulations.Additional Automation skills
3 . AI & Automation Integration
Collaborate with software teams to integrate CAM automation into PLM, ERP, or MES systems.Use Generative AI or rule-based systems for automatic quotation, setup sheet generation, or machining plan creation.Develop or use AI-driven tools for feature recognition, toolpath optimization, and cycle time prediction.Technical skills :
Hands-on experience with CAM software (CAMWorks, Mastercam, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks CAM).Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, machine tools, and tooling.Knowledge of materials, cutting speeds, feeds, and tolerances.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models (preferably SOLIDWORKS).Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication and teamwork skills.Automation skills :
Familiarity with AI tools or librariesexposure to AI / ML applications or automation projects is a strong plus.Exposure to AI-assisted quoting or machining process toolsSoft Skills

Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering.Experience : 3–6 years in CAM programming or manufacturing process development.Exposure to AI / ML applications or automation projects is a strong plus.Requirements
Advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools.Deep understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and best practices in both the US and UK.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to lead and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
