Sustainability Engineer

ESPR, Sustainability, Design for Sustainability, Product Life Cycle, LCA, Life Cycle Assessment, Circularity, Ecodesign, Recyclability, Repairability, Modularity, Durability, Refurbishment, Remanufacturing, PFAS, Standardization.

Your Responsibilities :

• Guide compliance for ESPR regulations, Design for Sustainability and Circularity score card in your team. Be a Sustainability Subject Matter Expert and internal Sustainability Consultant for development teams. Collaborate with Global Sustainability Team.
• Perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Distributed IO and Small Controller products.
• Work together with Development Teams and other internal functions such as Sourcing, Industrialization, Operations, Quality, Distribution Centers to collect data needed for LCA, Design for Sustainability and other sustainability reporting. Connect with Suppliers to collect data and identify design alternatives.
• Stay up to date with the requirements and legislative documents related to sustainability.
• Work with Management to lead best practices for new product development.
• Implement design practices to calculate and improve reliability, durability, recyclability, modularity, reparability of the product. Identify and eliminate Substances of Concern from products.
