Job Description
As an Associate Principal Consultant - Product Owner, you will :
- Business Needs & Specification : Apply a consulting mindset to conduct thorough research, understand complex business needs, and refine them into clear software specifications via features and user stories.
- Issue Resolution : Build an in-depth understanding of issues that arise throughout the product development lifecycle, analyzing them from various angles to find effective solutions.
- Backlog Ownership : Own and perform continuous backlog grooming, acting as the key liaison between Business and Engineering teams.
- Solution Facilitation : Facilitate solution optioning discussions with Engineering teams to ensure optimal technical approaches.
- Feature Definition : Write and document features clearly, aligning them with overarching business goals and metrics.
- Acceptance Criteria & Prioritization : Define clear Acceptance Criteria and expertly drive business priority for development efforts.
- Cross-Team Coordination : Expertly coordinate between Product Owners of other teams, Engineering teams, and Business stakeholders to drive overall business priority and achieve goals.
- User Story Crafting : Write user stories effectively in ATDD (Acceptance Test-Driven Development) format .
- Agile & Development Practices : Possess a sound understanding of Agile and Scrum practices , along with a solid background in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and ATDD .
- Application Architecture : Have a very good background and understanding of Distributed and Decoupled Web and API based applications and their architectural approach.
- Team Collaboration : Experience working with geographically distributed Engineering / Scrum teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Able to define and drive a clear stakeholder engagement communications plan. Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management.
- Project Management : Possess project management skills to define, document, and execute small projects or sub-projects independently or with a small team, actively participating in all phases.
- Communication : Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Product Strategy : Have a sound understanding of MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and MVS (Minimum Viable Service) .
Good to Have Skills
Product Owner experience in the Wholesale Automotive domain.CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or SAFe Product Owner certifications.Note : We are specifically looking for immediate joiners (candidates whose notice period is served or are currently serving their notice period).
