Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience specifically within the real estate industry. Proficiency with US / UK accounting software is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Accounts Payable / Receivable : Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.

Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.

General Ledger Maintenance : Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.

Property Management Support : Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.

Software Utilization : Effectively use US / UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Qualifications

Education : - Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience : - 5+ year of accounting experience in the real estate industry.

Software Skills : Proficiency with US / UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.

Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of real estate accounting.

Experience with property management software.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
